This post is a little overdue, but it's been pretty hectic in the Naylor house (when ISN'T it these days? I feel like this pretty much goes without saying since we have an infant). On Sunday Andy's mom left us to head back down to Washington, which meant that, for the first time since Olive was born, we were left on our own (cue the ominous music...). With Andy back at work, I've spent the last couple of days figuring out this whole mom thing on my own without a pair - or two! - of extra hands. Sometimes just going to the bathroom seems like a harrowing feat, but I think we're getting the hang of things.
On August 1, Olivia turned one month old! We decided to take a picture of her every month with the same stuffed animal to help document her growth. She seemed particularly taken by the bunny, so it was the winner. We also dressed her up in her cupcake shirt to mark the occasion. She can still wear newborn clothes but only tops and pants (not the bodysuits because she's too tall). She is fitting into 3 month clothes, but the pants fall right off of her - she has the tiniest little butt!

She is doing crazy eyes in every full body picture I took of her with the bunny. It's a good look. |
We have noticed so many changes just in the last few weeks. Little miss is SO alert - constantly looking around her.
She especially loves faces.

The hair is really starting to match! |
She still loves her hands and probably always will.
And Ripley still loves her. Probably because she is delicious.
It is so fun to watch her grow and become her own little person. Happy One Month "birthday" Miss Olivia!
