Seven Months Old!

Time marches on up here in Alaska.  It's already February and Olivia is already seven months old!!

Every time I look at her, I can't get over how grown up she looks.  And look at those teeth!

If you can't tell from the picture above, little miss is quite the sitter now!

Unfortunately, she has her mother's posture!

She LOVES eating "real" food.  Some of her favorites include pears, apples, avocados, and oatmeal. She's also tried sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, and some others, and she eats it all.  It seems like our feeding issues are finally over now that she isn't on a liquid diet anymore!

She also loves hanging out with her brother, who often gets jealous of the attention that is paid to her, but is always so sweet and patient with her - even when she pulls his jowls.  He also loves that she usually has yummy bits of food stuck to her now.  Ripley likes pureed fruits and vegetables, too!

I feel like the last two months I have been saying "she's so close to crawling!" but she really is...just not quite there yet.  She is so good at getting to where she wants to go by rolling, she doesn't seem to want to worry about her crawling technique too much.

And of course, she's often rolling directly into/toward something she shouldn't.

I had a ROUGH time getting her to do her bunny picture this month.  She just wouldn't hold still.

This was about the best.  She looks like she is trying to kill the bunny.

Here are the previous months.  Look at how big she is!! We had to drop into the doctor recently because of a concerning cough.  She was tipping the scales at 15 lb 14 oz, so she's definitely over 16 lbs now.  Way to go, Olivia!

Happy 7 months old, baby Olivia! We couldn't love you more!
