Merry and Bright

Just a quick post today to show you that we put up the tree - we found real ones (grown in Oregon!) at Home Depot for $39, so we're not making the transition to fake this year.

Here's how it turned out - complete with us humiliating poor Ripley:


I made Ripley wear this headband that Ann's mom bought me.  He tolerated it for some unknown reason.


Can you read it? it says "Santa I was good this year."  As far as Ripley goes, this is true.


Now he's just enjoying his evening by the fire and the tree.  His life is so hard.

    Hmm, slightly more here, for some strange reason. The Kahului Home Depot has 5' - 6' Noble Firs for $119, but you can get the 2' - 4' Nobles for a mere $69. Similar to the Anchorage prices on Coconut Palms, I guess.
