They'd been predicting a big snow storm for awhile, but we took it with a grain of salt since we'd been having some pretty terrible ice storms these past few weeks. The weatherman did not disappoint! Friday night we got about 4-6 inches and then it snowed all. day. Saturday. In fact, it's 11 am on Sunday and it's still snowing. Check out our backyard!
Andy shoveled yesterday and this morning we had 15" of new snow on the deck. This morning the first order of business was more shoveling. Ripley loved playing in the deeeeeeeep snow (which was over his head).
He's actually in that last picture. Can you see him?
Ripley cut some nice paths all over the yard. At least the snow was very nice and powdery.
This snow is no joke! Andy said it made our birch trees look like giant white monsters.
But it's also really pretty...
Even though Andy shoveled the deck yesterday, it had to be done again. I volunteered once I realized how light it was and I could shove it off the deck with a one-handed shovel push. Check out the pile I made!
Andy had to do the driveway. I do not envy him. Again, at least it was light (and up to his waist)!
And here's the front!
I think we're going to enjoy a nice day inside today. Happy Snowday!
